This book contains 26 different longings with a description of each longing, followed by a blessing related to the longing. Unlike desires or wants, longings are distinctly spiritual, powerful in their capacity to shape our lives, and provide a depth of meaning as we make choices in response to the longings. Additionally, each author also has a short section devoted to their own poetry.
